Zimre Property Investments was incorporated on 27 January 2003, following the successful disposal of National Real Estate (Private) Limited. The objective of its incorporation was to harness and co-ordinate Group property development activities, and to manage, maintain, develop and grow the Group's property portfolio. ZPI has since expanded the scope of its business to non-Group businesses, both in the private and public sectors.

NOTE: Shares of Zimre Property Investments Limited have been delisted from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE) since close of trading on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Zimre Property was traded on the ZSE under the ticker symbol “ZPI”. Zimre Property Investments Limited had a market capitalization of ZWL 1.2 billion.
