Bindura Nickel Corporation (BNC) Limited is a Zimbabwean mining company engaged in nickel production. Incorporated in June 1979, the company is based in Mashonaland Central. Trojan Nickel Mine Ltd and Shangani Nickel Mine Ltd are operating subsidiaries of BNC, having hoisting and treatment capacity of 1.1Mt and 1.0Mt a year respectively. BNC also owns and operates the Bindura Smelter and Refinery Complex which produces nickel cathodes, copper sulphide, and cobalt hydroxide. Its smelter capacity is estimated at 17ktpa and for the refinery 14.5ktpa.

Bindura Nickel's projects include the Shaft Re-deepening Project, the Concentrator Plant and Sub Vertical Medium Voltage Switch Room Equipment Replacement Project, the Sub Vertical Service Winder and Main Rock Winder Drives Upgrade Project, and the Smelter Restart Project.

In 2003, Mwana Africa Holdings, a South African mining company, acquired a 52.9% controlling interest in Bindura Nickel Corporation from Anglo American Corporation of Zimababwe.

      It's because of the country's poor economy and retail exchange rate fluctuations. You can observe the same pattern with pretty much all the other stocks on the exchange.
