Equity Bank Limited is a Kenyan financial institution offering financial services through its over 90-branch network which include 350 Visa branded automated teller machines, 2,500 point-of-sale terminals, cash back services in all leading Super markets, as well as internet and mobile banking. The bank commenced business on registration in 1984, and has since evolved from a building society to the largest bank in the East African region in terms of customer base. Equity Bank is home to 48% of all bank accounts in Kenya comprising of over 2.8 million accounts.
