Japaul Gold and Ventures Plc, incorporated in 1994, is a Nigerian upstream service company engaged in the business of mining, oil and gas, maritime, dredging, transportation, engineering, and construction services. Formerly called Japaul Oil and Maritime Services Plc, the change was occasioned by the marked emphasis on the company's mining business and its venturing into technology development, as it shifts from the largely oil and gas dependent business activities. In 2005, Japaul experienced a major restructuring activity culminating in the raising of ₦1.3 billion through its IPO and an additional ₦20 billion through a public offer two years later.

Japaul Group's service portfolio includes offshore vessels owning and chartering (Japaul Shipping & Offshore Services Ltd); downstream petroleum marketing (Japaul Energy Ltd); infrastructural development (Japaul Infrastructures Ltd); mining (Japaul Mines & Products Ltd); and pipeline constructions and repairs, marine logistics/equipment fabrication and leasing and repairs (Japaul Dredging Services Ltd). Japaul's shareholders consists of over 25,000 Nigerians as the company aims to place at least 60% of marine assets in the hands of indigenous companies.

We hardly see news about JAPAUL, except once in a while, now that they deal in the gold business, I hope when they make a fortune this time they will let us know so that we can position to benefit in it.
They should not eat alone oh! Gold dealers don’t eat alone
    Big warning!!!.

Almost all the comments on this platform centre on investors not receiving certificates and/or dividends and return on their investments but there has not been a single response from Japaul to this crucial query! Can somebody, the director or whoever has answers respond to the yearnings of these investors! They have invested heavily in your company and they deserve an answer. Thank you.

This is because they are communicating their complaints on the wrong platform. only give information on stocks exchanges. They should be communicating with the registrar for Japaul Gold instead which is Sterling Registrars (same as pace registrars.). So please if you have unclaimed dividends or have questions direct them to Sterling Registrars instead. Thank You.

Hello, I am surprised to see that Japaul Oil didn't appreciate for quite long. I bought it at the rate of N15/Unit in the Secondary Market with Kundila Finance about 15years back. But never get my dividend. Please ist that the company is not growing or no activity in the business. Because compared to other same business competitors the unit price is per different. Hoping to see positive change in your market.

I saw on the television that some Canadians are working in your gold mines and that you partnered with Chinese to work as well in your mines, you need to engage African mining companies also, JAPAUL should not limit Award of contract in mining to only foreigners since the gold is in Africa.
JAPAUL chairman should take note of that. We shall be sending our proposal.

I have been a stockholder with japaul for the past 10 years and ive not for once had any issue with them. from the oil market crashing to their struggle t stay afloat then diversifying business, they've always kept shareholders abreast of issues. so its shocking to me when i see faceless people on this post making baseless allegations. please conduct your due diligence before you come online to cry wolf as is the norms nowadays.
