Unga Group Limited is a Kenya-based holding company. The Company has two business segments, namely Consumer, and Animal Nutrition and Health. The Consumer segment produces products for human consumption. The Animal Nutrition and Health segment produces animal feed and mineral supplement products, and distributes products for animal health. The Company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the milling of wheat and maize, and the manufacture of packaging materials and animal nutrition products. The Company's wholly owned subsidiary is Unga Investments Limited, which has a 65% holding in its subsidiary, Unga Holding Limited. As of June 2010, the Company's major shareholders were Victus Limited and Moses Thara, among others.
