Trans Century Limited is a Kenya-based company engaged in power, transport, infrastructure and engineering industries across Africa. The Company is focusing its activities on three divisions: Power; Transport and Engineering. The Power Infrastructure Division is a manufacturer of electrical cable and transmission equipment in East, Central and Southern Africa, with a broad customer base that includes retail outlets, large and small electrical contractors, projects and utilities. Engineering Division is the region's mechanical and civil engineering and contracting firm in East and Central Africa. The division also provides out-of gauge logistics and cranage and erection services in the region. In April 2014, Trans Century Ltd announced that its subsidiary Safari Rail Company Limited has sold its entire stake equaling to 34% in in Rift Valley Railways (RVR), the national rail operator of Kenya and Uganda, to Africa Railways, a subsidiary of Citadel Capital.
