FMB Capital Holdings (FMBCH) Plc is a Mauritius-based holding company for the FMB Capital Group which has banking and finance operations in Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The investment holding company was incorporated in March 2016 as a Category 1 Global Business Licence company. As such, the company's performance is largely determined by that of its underlying investment instruments. FMBCH's primary objective is to evolve into a strategic investment holding company that provides shared services in the areas of treasury management, administration, risk management and strategy, and financial management.

FMB Capital Holdings intends to seek a dual listing in Mauritius, since this will allow fungibility with shares in FMBCH being transferable between the registers in Malawi and Mauritius. The restructuring will also increase the visibility of the FMBCH Group to the international investing public and enhance its profile and shareholder value through a wider market participation in the company's shares. FMBCH's subsidiaries include First Capital Bank which operates in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, and Malawi; as well as Capital Bank SA (Mozambique). FMB Capital Holdings is rated Long Term A+ and Short Term A1 by Global Credit Rating Co.
