Sasol Limited is a global integrated chemicals and energy company that sources, produces, and markets a range of fuels and chemical products in 27 countries. The company is listed on the JSE in South Africa and the New York Stock Exchange in the United States. Sasol’s investors consist of both equity investors (those invested in the ordinary shares or the ADRs) and lenders/debt investors—banks and institutional investors lending to the company or investing in its issues of debt instruments such as local bonds, offshore bonds, commercial paper issues, project finance, loans and other credit facilities, and convertible instruments.

Sasol comprises two distinct market-focused businesses, namely, Chemicals and Energy, with a corporate center to support. The Chemicals Business, which has a diversified, global presence across Africa, America, and Eurasia, boasts a broad range of integrated alcohols and surfactants, specialty alumina products which are backed by a track record of collaborative innovation with customers. The Energy Business has a strong regional position across Southern Africa, including upstream gas operations in Mozambique, and leverages the unique Fischer-Tropsch technology and advantaged assets to produce fully integrated liquid fuels and chemical products.
