My mom has similar issue. bought the shares in 2008. has received just too unimpressive dividend and nothing till date. just going thru her docs with her. I'm glad I run into this forum. Apparently, she is not alone in this. ETI is so in efficient.

@Udo it seems that's their trademark.... I had the same experience this year.... I called the Registrar and she said they can only do something after six months....

But actually for some years now they have only been issuing bonus shares.... So that may also be a factor.

My mom bought an ETI shares(1500) about 10years ago. She said she has the cerficate but has never received a divided before and doesn't have any information about the shares. What can she do to get her dividend for the past years if any, and in case she wants to sell the shares to get her money back, how will she go about it.

Please contact your broker or GSE/SEC. They would help retrieve what is due you.

For all who have issues with the status of their shares, certificates, dividends etc. Kindly contact your stock broker, SEC or GSE. They would help you digitize your shares certificate, retrieve unclaimed dividends where possible, and after which you may decide whether to sell or not. But not that the share price is worth only about half of its value during the IPO. Seek advice first before you make your move...
