    Hello
Please the dividend per share which is stated might be a mistake.
The company declared $0.0016 per share and the equivalent in cedis is not 0.9308 Ghs. The usd to cedis rate is around 7.

Very true... But the declaration of a dividend alone is a positive step and it confirms ETI is on an upward turn it's a definite buy and hold share now.

The Eti shares is the most fraudulent transaction ever. I bought the Shares in 2008,just like the rest of you, received a paltry ,insulting dividend only once and that was it. 14 years down the line the price per Share at 0.14. Totally ridiculous ?.My regret is that I should have use all the money to buy lands when it was offered to me by the owners in Ashiaman. They were begging me to buy as many as I want but I was scared and just bought 3 plot of lands. Two for myself and one for my mum at the 3000 ie 1000 ghc each in 2008..Now a plot of land.in that area and even far off from my location are been sold at 50000 to 70,000 ghc.I was having the cash then but was scared to buy more considering land dispute issues In Ghana, hence use the 5000 (50 million old cedis) to buy the Eti shares. I have been away from Ghana for 8 years now ,the day I will set foot in Ghana will.head straight up there to sell my shares or claim my fucking money. With the rate ridiculously shit, who will even buy. That 50m old cedis even if it was a fixed deposited in a bank, would have even earned some interest on top of that money ?. Regrettable indeed.

Have you seen they couldn't give you any reply for your comment. The same thing happened to me. I bought 3000 shares for 1,000 Cedis as at 2008. They are Cheaters!

So I also bought the same shares in 2008. In 2009, I bought SIC shares. The SIC shares gained some value and I sold them.

What I can say is that experienced investors try as much as possible to avoid IPOs. The reason is that shares that sold during IPOs are overvalued 95% of the time. Of course some IPOs can also be good. So the IPO for ETI share was overvalued. After 13 years, we see the true value of the shares.

I think diversification is important. Have some fixed income securities and equity as well. Given the high risk associated with equity, the risk averse investor should give more weight to fixed income assets like the Treasury bill and bonds from government.

      Hello Peter,
Please how much do you think ETI share value will be worth today, if I bought 1000 shares in 2009?
      thanks
