Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc is the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing company in Ghana. Located in the hub of industrial activity, the company is recognized as a pioneer in the manufacturing of high quality pharmaceutical drugs with a distribution network throughout West Africa. It was initially founded in May 1964 as Dannex Limited, a wholly owned private limited liability company, for the express purpose of manufacturing and distribution of pharmaceutical products. However, in 2014 and 2016 respectively, Dannex acquired majority shares in industry giants Starwin Products Limited (71.33%) and Ayrton Drug Manufacturing Limited (53.47%). All three companies were subsequently merged in 2019 to create Dannex Ayrton Starwin Plc.

Dannex Ayrton Starwin has a product range that includes tablets, capsules, liquids (syrups and suspensions), powders, ointments, chemicals (disinfectants) and veterinary products. With a strong distribution network, the company has wholesalers, retailers, and distribution points in all regions of Ghana. Additionally, they supply to other countries within the West African region.
