Benso Oil Palm Plantation Ltd is a Ghanaian oil palm plantation company based at the Adum Banso Estate in Takoradi. The company, incorporated on January 22, 1976, is involved in the production and processing of crude palm oil. Its primary activity is the growing of oil palm and the processing of palm fruits to produce palm oil and palm kernel oil. Benso produces oil such as RBD Palm Oil, RBD Palm Olein, and vegetable oil mills, which have enabled it to control a large share of the market in West Africa. The company is also involved in the refinery of fats and oils. In 2004, the Ghana-based oil producing company patented a technology that converts waste food into nutritious food. Benso Oil Palm Plantation Limited is a subsidiary of Wilmar Africa Limited, producers of Frytol.

    I have learnt that for the past 3 years BOPP has not shared any dividend. Please how true is this and how do I get to know on how to find out about this dividend stuff

      Not true. BOPP has consistently paid dividends over the past several years. ¢0.0469 per share in 2016 for the previous fiscal year, ¢0.0465 in 2017 ditto, and ¢0.0628 in 2018 ditto. The latest is ¢0.034 per share for the 2018 financial year scheduled to be paid on 28th June 2019. If you are a shareholder, you must have received the announcements either by postal or electronic mail.
