Unilever Ghana Limited is the largest producer and retailer of consumer goods in Ghana. It formed on July 14, 1992 with a merger of UAC Ghana Limited and Lever Brothers Ghana Limited. Unilever Ghana is currently the largest quoted manufacturing and marketing company, supplying fast moving consumer goods across foods, and home and personal care product categories in Ghana. Seven out of every ten households around the world contain at least one Unilever product, including brands such as Lipton, Knorr, Dove, Axe, Hellmann's, and Omo. Trusted local brands designed to meet the specific needs of consumers in their home market include Blue Band, Pureit, Suave, Key Soap, Lux, Geisha, Frytol, Royco, Pepsodent, Close-Up, Sunsilk, and Annapurna.
