Pesewa ONE PLC is a Ghanaian business incubator engaged in the building and development of enterprises in industries such as technology, education, media, advertising, finance, and professional services. The genesis of the Pesewa brand was in the launch of Pesewa Global and Pesewa Investment Club in 2018 to invest in innovative young start-up businesses. The Pesewa Investment Club has since grown into Pesewa ONE PLC with 55 start-up ideas and businesses currently under the incubator. The objective of Pesewa ONE is to develop platforms to inspire young Ghanaian entrepreneurs to begin their journeys of creating wealth and jobs.

In terms of its business model, Pesewa ONE takes up 30% shares in each of the businesses under its incubator program and receives dividends when any of these businesses make a profit. Additionally, the company realizes capital gains upon sale of any of these businesses. Pesewa ONE is also entitled to management fees for services provided to each business for the first five years of the business’s existence. Pesewa ONE owns and monetizes all the data from its activities and those of the incubate businesses through its website.

NOTE: Shares of Pesewa One Plc have been delisted from the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) since close of trading on Friday, September 29, 2023. Pesewa One was traded on the GSE under the ticker symbol “POP”. The International Securities Identification Number (ISIN) of GSE:POP was GHEPOP062910. Pesewa One Plc was the 35th most valuable stock on the GSE with a market capitalization of GHS 3.4 million, which made about 0.0046% of the Ghana Stock Exchange equity market at the time of delisting.
