In other terms, the NEWFUNDS ETF is an index of all the bonds that the government issues that pays back interest linked to the consumer price index (CPI) or inflation. It takes all the money an investor receives back from these bonds on a monthly basis and reinvests it in on their behalf. Thus, the amount that an investor invests in the ETF increases every month.
